I decided to read Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. What surprised me the most about this book was Steve Jobs personality. He was a very particular person. When I think of Steve Jobs, I think of Apple or a genius. Now, it's a whole new ballgame. I least admired his personality. Jobs was a very heartless person in my book. Someone who complained too much to be so successful. The iPhone 4 was a problem which Jobs faced. Antennagate caused drop calls on the iPhone 4 and a huge controversy for apple users. In the beginning, Jobs didn't want to deal with the issue but eventually he offered apple users a free bumper case that would fix the problem. If i were able to ask Steve Jobs two questions they would be, how far do you think the iPhone would come in the future and what is the biggest size phone he would ever advance to. In my opinion, Steve Jobs believed hard work was perfection. I don't believe we share that opinion. Granted, I try my hardest to perfect every task at hand but I also understand sometimes it can't be done.
Hey Melanie! So this is interesting that you chose this book because although I didn't, I still was very much inspired by Steve Jobs' several movies. He embodies the true characteristics of an entrepreneur and the Apple company would not stand where it does today if it weren't for him. I agree that hard work is not perfection because there are many ways to find faults in our works even if we try our hardest but that's just a part of making them better.
